If you've got a stash of fungus type seeds, Shroomie is the perfect pet to put them to good use. Its ability increases the size of all nearby fruits and crops based on how many Fungus-type plants you have, with the Mushroom being the most common to use. Other Fungus plants that contribute to Shroomie's effect include Autumn Shroom, Bloodred Mushroom, Duskpuff and many others.
